Yes, our riding jeans have a certified rating of A under EN17092-4. They have been tested to withstand 3.4 seconds of abrasion in case of a crash.

Are the knee and hip protectors removable?

Yes. They are adjustable and removable, so you won't have to keep them inserted after your ride. Please note that the Santiago jeans come with knee protection (slots and knee protectors) and hip protection slots (protectors not included).

Does the fabric of the jeans offer abrasion resistance?

Apart from the knee/hip protectors, the proprietary 100% Twaron® fabric also offers abrasion resistance unlike other cotton jeans.
